Birthday dinner at Nong and Jimmy

Today is special day for my family. We celebrated this special day with seafood feast at a Thai Seafood BBQ Restaurant located in Ampang.

Nong and Jimmy is pretty famous with its BBQ dishes. Table reservation is a must to dine in at this place else you will be disappointed. They are moving soon in this couple of weeks. 

With 11 people of us, we ordered 10 dishes. The portion is kind of small for this large crowd and our bill is closed with RM502.

Homemade pineapple jam

Productive Sunday. I am at kitchen since morning. Preparing pineapple jam for pineapple roll making. Once a year to have such mood as Chinese New Year is around the corner.

Beautiful Sunday

While I'm writing this blog, I was sitting in the green. What a beautiful Sunday. It's been a while I have not back to Bukit Jalil to have a morning jog. My last round was a year back I guess.

Seeing the sun shinning through the trees, birds tweeting on the tree trunks and most importantly is looking at the people at this park are the most beautiful things. People come with family, parents or friends were happily jog and chat.

Looking at people who smiled to me has brighten my morning. Surprisingly I found quite plenty of charm guys joining around 😁😁

I shall change my lifestyle.

Selina to meet the media for first time after injury

Taipei, Jan. 19 (CNA) After over 90 days of intensive hospital care, pop singer Selina of Taiwan's popular girls band S.H.E. is expected to meet the media on Wednesday afternoon, one day earlier than originally expected.

Her record company sent out a release around 11 a.m. to notify reporters of the last-minute press conference to be held at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei County.

It was not known if the two other band members -- Ella and Hebe -- will attend.

The 28-year-old singing sensation sustained third degree burns over 54 percent of her body while shooting an explosion scene in Shanghai three months ago.

News of her injury left her fans in utter shock and shook up the entertainment industry over the lack of safety measures for actors.

Several reports said the starlet's face was also affected but no pictures of her have been released since suffering her injury.

Speculation is rife over how she will appear at the press conference, such as whether she will wear a hat to cover any part of her head or face.

Selina, whose real name is Jen Chia-hsuan, became a household name in the Chinese community worldwide in 2001 when S.H.E. shot to fame after their first album sold over 750,000 copies in Asia.

Before her injury, Selina, who is engaged to her long-term boyfriend, was also well on her way to becoming a popular variety show host

1st time of lunch

Today is a cloudy day. My sis, mother & myself accompanied my youngest bro to attend an interview for his internship with Leo Burnett @ Menara Olympia in KL.

We reached half an hour early though we got lost by referring to gps to search for that building. Well, we have decided to park our car at that Building and walkout to the nearby stall for our lunch. When I saw his office's building is just nearby so I called him up for lunch.

Yong tau fu is our first choice however the restaurant is packed with people. Then we have changed to a chicken rice stall. Erm.. RM5 for 'charkai' rice. still consider affordable.

After the lunch, he walked back to his office while we went to museum telekom since my bro's interview hasn't finish.

Surprisingly this museum is quite well-maintained & clean. We spent about half an hour at there. well, this is a nice place to visit as we will know the history of telecommunications & the transformation of telephones.

The day before Thaipusam in 2011

Tomorrow is national's public holiday because of Thaipusam celebration. Is anyone knows what Thaipusam celebration means?

Well for those people like us who does not really celebrate this festival, we will enjoy the holiday gift by staying up until very late and waking up at noon time just to get enough rest. My plan for the day before Thaipusam is....

For dinner, I had Little Taiwan @ IOI Mall. It was quite pricey and is not tasty. I will not return to there for next time for my main course. Not because I'm picky but just that I don't feel it is worth. RM10.90 for claypot lou shu fan & RM5.90 for green tea with pearl.

I watched 'Faster' starring by The Rock at night at IOI Mall. The movie tickets cost RM10/seat means the price rose for RM2 each though today is Wed. So sad... Malaysia's inflation is getting worse and I don't feel like staying at this place anymore.....
